Even though it is September 1, it feels like a new year! This summer has been filled with wonderful children (my own and my students), travel with my husband, art making, museum education, and writing a thesis proposal for my long awaited MA. Our wonderful old home continues to be a source of inspiration to me and for the first time in the eight years we've lived here my backyard art studio has become fully alive. Little ones have been creating original works of art all summer long and I look forward to making more art as the season changes and the weather cools. Of course in Pasadena that won't happen till November...
